Michelle Dunne was born in Cork Ireland and grew up in the picturesque harbor town of Cobh where she spent the majority of her childhood on the water, (along with every other kid in town) as a member of the local rowing club. She achieved All-Ireland success before beginning her 5 year career in the Irish Army, during which time she went from recruit, to infantry soldier, to UN Peacekeeper in Lebanon, to instructor back in Ireland and loved every minute of it.
With a lifelong love of the written word, her first published work, "Did Someone Order Cactus?", was the beginning of what was to become a two book series suitably called "The Turbulent Series". Within these pages, the very different lives of our three heroines, Alison, Jen and Erin, filled with drama and adventure, intertwine to make us laugh, cry and generally want to be their friend. But of course the journey from those first scribbled pages, to publication was a very long one, so we should give a mention to the fact that most of her writing was done while working her way through college and a whole other career in healthcare.
Nowadays her writing has shifted from women's fiction to contemporary fiction with a military twist and she's working tirelessly with her agent at Artellus Literary Agency to bring something quite juicy to your bookshelves and tablets very soon. Stay connected and keep an eye out for updates, you won't want to miss it!
