"The sign of a good book, when you're lonesome for the characters once you've finished ..."

Michelle Dunne was born in Cork Ireland and grew up in the picturesque harbour town of Cobh where she spent the majority of her childhood on the water, along with every other kid in town, as a member of the local rowing club (not the serene, posh looking kind, but the kind undertaken by hardy fishermen). She achieved All-Ireland success before beginning her 5 year career in the Irish Army, during which time she went from recruit, to infantry soldier, to UN Peacekeeper in Lebanon, to instructor back in Ireland and loved every minute of it.

Following a spell back in college, Michelle now brings physiotherapy and staff training to a colourful and unruly bunch of elders and those who care for them in nursing homes and hospitals all over Munster. She's back living in Cobh with her husband Dominic and their daughter Emily.

Michelle's first book, Did Someone Order Cactus? brought Jen, Alison and Erin screaming into our lives, as we followed their turbulent adventures from one side of the Atlantic to the other. Their story continued in the second book in the series, aptly called, It's Just Turbulence.

While Nobody Is Watching is Michelle's third book. Drawing from her military experiences we see the mental health challenges faced by soldiers serving at home and overseas as this thriller brings us ever closer to the edge of our seats! Out summer 2020 from Bad Press Ink.
